My deepest condolences to the Thomson family. The Chief was the best, he always made me smile and his dad jokes were the absolute corniest. My thoughts are with the family (especially to the Benner family) where the Chief was a constant in their home and always made me feel happy whenever I was around him.

My sincere condolences to the Thomson family. I first met KT when I delivered newspapers in the '50s. His grin and friendliness were contagious . I will always remember him as a Crystal Beach fireman in his Captain's uniform. RIP

KT will be missed by so many. As a late teen I first met Captain KT many Sat & Sun afternoons in the firehall playing Euchre and reaching into a frig that would not empty.
I would see KT at FE races and chat up the horses. His jokes were the worst, but you had to laugh.
KT would love to get into our annual NHL playoff pool and if the Leafs were in KT always loaded up on them ( or Sabres). He was loyal to the end.
