Obituary of Jack Cunningham
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jack Cunningham on October 7, 2024 in his 78th year.
He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his loving wife of 56 years Toni and his children Scott (Blythe) and Christa (Kevin). He loved and cherished his 4 grandchildren Austin, Aidan, Luka and Finley.
Jack will be sadly missed by his 6 siblings Sandy (Joanne), Rob (Maureen), Janie (Bob), Cheryl (Ken), Barb (John) and Evelyn along with his brothers and sisters in law, Eddy (Maryanne), John, Kees, Cobi, Peter (Adele), Ron (Kathy), Dick (Margaret) and Mary (Ricky) and all their families.
Jack retired from Fleet Canada Inc. at the age of 63 after having worked there for 45 years, working his way from the bottom of the company to second in command. His greatest passion was his family, followed by woodworking, model trains, fishing, boating and camping.
Jack was a long-time member and active as chairman of the Stewards at Sherkston United Church. We would appreciate you considering the church or a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers if you wish to contribute in his memory.
Friends and family will celebrate his life on Tuesday October 15th at Sherkston United Church (5244 Garrison Road) Sherkston. Visitation will begin at 10, service at 11 with lunch to follow.
